bangles and bobblesPosted: July 15, 2011
A friend of mine brought back a box of cheer from her recent trip to LA. As soon as she spilled her finds on to her desk, all three women in the room giggled and started filling our wrists with candy colored bangles. Not necessarily girly, not too sophisticated, just the right amount of mod ladylike fun. I knew immediately the vision I wanted to share with you all.
A Brazilian designer, SOBRAL, has created a new technique that works with recycled plastics that make up this colorful and addictive resin pattern. Each peice is made by hand and utilizes an eco-friendly production. Though I am obsessed with the jewelry, I was amazed to find out SOBRAL makes…
The life that these pieces carry, can you imagine the world they would create in my humble little living room!
Thank you Katy for sharing your finds, and thank you to SOBRAL for being so rad.
