After becoming obsessed with the Harajuku street style, we got all dressed up and had our own “Harajuku moment”. This is our little dedication to those kids that inspire us when they wake up each Sunday and find their way to  Harajuku Station in Tokyo.

A Clockwork Yellow

I love getting inspiration from movies, especially when they have such strong visual impact like Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange.  But I always want to make it my own, why just copy something verbatim, where’s the fun in that?

I wanted to switch it up with a little color.  Keep the attitude, add a dash of mustard to the mix.

I substituted the white pants and suspenders for some amazing yellow Adam Arnold overalls with white snaps.  I loooove these banana pants!

People should really wear nice hats more often.  Nothing tops off a look like a well crafted hat like this bowler hat from John Helmer.

“lets get ’em boys!”
